Fair prices. Good food. You get what you pay for.
Yes.
They have some. You will need to ask. I do know they have coconut ice cream.
No. Nice casual
I would call if I were you.
No, but they are really fast for take away food.
Average length.
We loved our visit here!! The food was wonderful.. very tasty.. we had the calamari for appetizer and it was great! The waiter was very helpful and the speed was perfect!!
We ordered an appetizer called Satay. It’s by far the best I’d had but the main course was a little disappointing to me after reading all the raving reviews on google. The quality of food was only average. 😔
Basil is a cut above the other Asian restaurants in and around Wooster. Very clean and simple layout, with an upscale feel and direct view into a fair portion of the kitchen. The range of fare is diverse, but not overwhelming. I tried the Vietnamese phô the first time I was there, and it did not disappoint. All the dishes were served in a timely manner, with great attention to detail. Our server, Rocco, is a phenomenal talent. Personable, but not overbearing. Saw to our needs while keeping it professional. Basil has quickly become a favorite for my wife and I.
Amazing pho! And amazing service the food was phenominal!
I thoroughly enjoyed the food at Basil. The bartender was very knowledgable about the menu, and expressed to me exactly what I should eat. I had the spicy fish, and it was so good! Also had some veggie pot stickers that were just perfect. The drink menu was very unique and the bartender made me a special drink with ginger! It was so amazing. Please visit this restaurant when you get a chance!
Good food and great service. The avocado curry and fried rice were both amazing. Would definitely return.
Very busy at times and quite loud. Very pricey but overall good food and service. Seems well run for the most part and organized for how much business they can get at the dinner rush times. Very nice during lunch. Less crowded.
A trendy Asian bistro in the heart of beautiful historic Wooster. It has a modern feel with exposed ceilings and open layout. The food is as good as it looks! I ordered an egg roll for an appetizer. The spicy mustard is definitely spicy! My main dish was the Moo Goo Gai Pan with chicken. The sauce is a great blend of ginger and garlic and the vegetables were nice and crisp. Thank you for the wonderful lunch!
Fantastic service. Good food as always.
First time into this place and I was impressed. Very clean and well designed, prices were fair for the good food you get. COVID precautious were in place. My waiter was Rococo he was super professional and personable. I had the Pad Thai and sweet coconut rice. Two solid dishes and a must try. The broccoli sprouts that came with the Pad Thai were a tad brown on the ends, would like to see them a little fresher.-Thank you Basil Asian Bistro
My friend and I came in last week to eat for lunch and the tall manager was so rude to the servers! We were seated at a booth beside where she was sitting and she got mad when they asked for a drink! Our only saving grace was coming in last night. We got there around 7 and the server was a little busy, so the manager named Bri took care of us and gave wonderful suggestions. My advice, if you see the tall manager leave and come back when Bri is there. Food was wonderful both times just not the other managers attitude.
This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Wooster. They have the best sweet and sour- one of my favorite dishes here. The service is friendly and helpful and prices are good. I would recommend them wholeheartedly!
Love love love this restaurant!! I ordered take-out and when I was ready to eat it after 15 minutes the food was still HOT! Don’t know the brand of containers they use but it’s a 👍🏼 For me. Also the best waitress is Brea S (don’t want to put last name for privacy) keep up the great service BASIL 🌿
Basil Asian Bistro was ok, it wasn't anything to write home about. I didn't feel like it was very authentic Asian food. My Pad Thai has red sauce ?? which I've never had Pad Thai with red sauce, and it tasted like it was from the frozen food isle at the grocery store warmed up. I do have to say the sushi rolls were really good and tasted fresh. Bathrooms were clean but the sliding toilet seat needs to be fixed along with the soap dispenser, it didn't squirt soap properly! The waitress was very nice.
